Meet Roast, a playful and affectionate boy who loves to be by your side. While in foster care, he’s been calm and well-mannered, happy to curl up at your feet or nuzzle in for attention. He enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, chasing toys, and even snacking on a little snow for fun. Roast appears potty trained, crate trained, and knows several commands including sit, down, and shake. He’s got a big heart, a healthy appetite, and an even bigger love for his people.

Roast has plenty of energy to spare and thrives with an active routine. He enjoys long walks and outdoor adventures. In doggie playgroup at the shelter, Roast engages in mutual physical play and some vocal pushy play with other dog friends., With a bit of guidance and consistency, this lovable goofball will make a loyal and fun companion for anyone ready to match his enthusiasm.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
