Salisbury has been with us since February 2025, patiently waiting for the family who’ll finally see what a gem he is. With a perfect blend of playfulness and laid-back charm, he’s a medium-energy boy who loves a good romp but is just as happy to relax by your side. In foster care, he’s appeared potty trained, crate trained, and a dream in the car. He knows basic commands, walks nicely on leash, and is eager to please—powered by one very dedicated, hardworking brain cell that always tries its best!

This handsome guy is a social, easygoing companion who does well with respectful older children, friendly dogs, and even cats. He enjoys gentle affection (belly rubs are his favorite!) but also appreciates his independence, making him a wonderful match for many different home environments. Salisbury truly shines in a calm, loving household where he can enjoy both companionship and downtime.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
