Meet Zenitsu, a cheerful, people-loving pup with puppy-like enthusiasm and a big, goofy heart. He warms up instantly to new friends and quickly wins them over with his favorite move: placing his big, sweet face in your lap for affection. Zenitsu is social, smart, and eager to please. He knows sit and stay, and responds quickly when asked to slow down.

Zenitsu loves exploring parks, hanging out in the sun, and greeting every human he sees with wiggles and happiness. He rode calmly in the car, handled busy public spaces with ease, and did great meeting groups of people on a college campus. Around other dogs, he’s social and friendly.

At home or out and about, Zenitsu is affectionate, curious, and ready for adventure. He enjoys toys, settles nicely after exercise, and is attentive to his person. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who brings joy everywhere he goes, Zenitsu may be the perfect match.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
