Meet Big Bear! As you can see from the photos, he has a big, round smile and adorable perky ears that perfectly match his sturdy build. He is a senior dog and loves soaking up affection from his favorite people. He has been described as calm and gentle, with an easygoing nature that makes him a comforting presence. He has coexisted well with other dogs in play group. Big Bear is sure to catch someone’s eye quickly—don’t miss the chance to meet him!

Golden Years Companion: Because senior pets deserve all the love in the world, this animal’s adoption fee is completely WAIVED! We never want an adoption fee to stand in the way of a senior dog enjoying their golden years surrounded by care and comfort.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
