Born and raised in Cincinnati, in Cincinnati Animal CARE’s Northside neighborhood, Captain Corcoran has been in the field helping animals and their people for more than 20 years. A familiar face in the region, Corcoran works to enforce Ohio Revised Code laws pertaining to animals in Hamilton County: picking up stray dogs/cats, saving injured animals, controlling wildlife, and assisting Police and Fire when called upon. “There’s nothing else like getting to make a difference for abused pets and reunited lost ones with their owners,” Corcoran says.
Outside of the shelter, Captain Corcoran spends time with his children, enjoys working on his home, and loves being outdoors. We are thankful and privileged to have an animal welfare veteran and leader of his caliber on our team.
