My Furry Valentine is the Tri-State’s largest adoption event of the year, and Cincinnati Animal CARE is proud to be part of it once again! This incredible weekend brings together hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from shelters and rescues across Greater Cincinnati—making it easier than ever to find your perfect match.

🏡 Foster a Future Before the Event
Every animal attending My Furry Valentine must be in a temporary foster home before the event—and that’s where you come in. By opening your home for just a short time, you:
- Give an animal a safe, loving place to land
- Help them decompress and show off their true personality
- Learn their in-home manners and quirks
- Provide them a ride to meet hundreds of eager adopters

Foster commitments run through February 21–22, and our team supports you every step of the way.

Foster Drop-Off Times (Strictly Enforced)
- Saturday, 2/21: 7:30–8:30 AM
- Sunday, 2/22: 10:00–10:45 AM

My Furry Valentine has been such a huge success because of YOU—and we’re excited to do it all again in 2026!
This two-day event brings hundreds of adoptable animals together under one roof, making it easy to:
- Meet dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from dozens of rescues and shelters
- Talk directly with knowledgeable staff and volunteers
- Shop from pet and non-pet vendors
- Enjoy a fun, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere
Every adoption makes room for another animal in need—and every adopted pet goes home with a goodie bag and a chance to win an Adopter Raffle Basket.
