Meet Claro, a gentle, sensitive girl with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. Shelter life has been overwhelming for her, and she does best in calm, low traffic environments where she can move at her own pace and feel safe. Claro would thrive with someone who understands large breed dogs, respects her boundaries, and is willing to take things slow while building trust.

Once you are in her circle, Claro blossoms into the sweetest companion. She is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and will happily stay right by your side. With patience, consistency, and a quiet home, this girl has so much love to give. Claro is hoping for a second chance with someone who sees her for who she truly is and is ready to help her feel secure and cherished.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
