Meet Capybara, an affectionate, people-oriented pup who loves learning, yard time, and curling up for post-play cuddles. She already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more—especially when treats or praise are involved. She also shows signs of being potty trained and has been described as a “loving little angel” when her needs are met.
Capybara enjoys toys, training sessions, and cozy downtime in equal measure. Around other dogs, she tends to be gentle and prefers calm companions. With her sweet, curious, and cuddly personality, Capybara is ready to find a family who will love her for the devoted, playful companion she is.
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County’s humane society needs, dog warden, and animal control services. We help keep people and pets together and connect strays with future families.
