Meet Whetsel, a beefy, stocky hunk who looks like he was built to ride shotgun in a pickup, head out the window and tongue flapping in the breeze. He’s friendly and wiggly when saying hello, then settles into a calm, steady vibe that makes him easy to be around. In playgroup, he minds his own beeswax, casually strutting around like the handsome man he knows he is. He's cool and mellow. He feels like the kind of sidekick who’s always ready for whatever the day brings, whether that’s an adventure or just cruising along together-or napping. Naps are good.

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!

To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
