Blondy is a sweet senior girl who is still finding her footing in the world. She is blind and deaf, and new environments can understandably make her feel a little nervous and unsure at first. With time, patience, and gentle reassurance, she begins to settle and relax, especially when she receives frequent pets to let her know she is safe.
Blondy moves slowly and may bump into things as she explores, but she navigates carefully. She prefers a cozy dog bed where she can rest comfortably. She has been accident-free in her foster home and is doing well with her routine. Blondy walks nicely on leash at her own pace and enjoys short strolls, about a block at a time.
She is eating well, loves cheese, and takes her medications like a champ. Blondy has also done well with a resident cat, calmly ignoring him when they cross paths. Blondy is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and cared for in her golden years.
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
Golden Years Companion: Because senior pets deserve all the love in the world, this
animal’s adoption fee is completely WAIVED! We never want an adoption fee to stand in the way of a senior dog enjoying their golden years surrounded by care and comfort.
To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email [email protected] to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at
home? Bring them along to ensure it’s a perfect match.
