Meet Lumen, a bright, playful, and affectionate girl who brings joy everywhere she goes! In her foster home, Lumen was reported to be mostly potty trained, with only a bit of excitement peeing during play. She loves her crate and happily tucks herself in when she’s ready for bed. Lumen greeted everyone with warmth and enthusiasm and did wonderfully with visiting kids ages 12–16, but she would do best in an adult-only (18+) home without children or frequent child visitors, though families may be considered on a case-by-case basis if it’s the right fit.
Lumen is a social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people on walks and had no issues with house guests. She’s playful with other dogs and loves having fun, but she may not enjoy sharing certain resources, so an onsite meet-and-greet with resident dogs is required. Families interested in helping her thrive in a multi-dog household can be sent home with helpful resources on managing shared spaces and items, but she is recommended to go to a home where she is the only animal.
Lumen would do well in a home where someone is around often—stay-at-home is recommended but not required. She’s affectionate, joyful, and eager to be part of a loving family that will guide her as she continues to grow.
