Meet Irving, an affectionate, gentle giant who is all about love, snuggles, and being close to his people. He enjoys calm walks, couch cuddles, and will happily nap right beside you if you let him. Irving is very people-focused and friendly with everyone he meets, including kids, who he has meet and done well with on adoption shows, though he doesn't always know his size! His signature move is offering paw for attention and treats.

He walks well on leash with no consistent pulling, travels calmly in the car, and knows several cues like sit, stay, down, and paw. Irving appears potty trained and is an easygoing companion overall!

At events and out in the world, he shines as a calm, social guy who soaks up affection and patiently waits for his turn to say hello. While he has done okay with other dogs in shelter playgroups, we always recommend bringing any resident dogs down for a meet and greet to make sure its a goof fit. He would also be perfectly happy as a solo companion!

All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!
