Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic Services & Pricing Options
We know vet care can be expensive—but keeping pets healthy shouldn’t be out of reach. Cincinnati Animal CARE hosts low-cost vaccine clinics every Thursday from 1–3 PM at our main shelter (3949 Colerain Ave, back of building).
These services protect not just your pet, but the whole community—vaccines stop disease, microchips reunite families, and preventatives keep pests away.
No appointment needed—just show up!
(Open to all residents, not just those in Hamilton County. If you need a rabies vaccine, please call ahead to confirm a vet is on-site that day.)

Low-Cost Dog Vaccine Packages
Vaccines are one of the most important tools we have to protect dogs from dangerous and contagious diseases. Our packages also include microchips, deworming, and optional rabies protection—all crucial components of responsible pet care. These packages help dogs live longer, healthier lives and reduce risks to both pets and people.
Tier 1 – $20
- DHPP – Protects against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus—highly contagious, often deadly diseases.
- Bordetella – Helps prevent kennel cough, a respiratory infection common in social settings like parks or boarding.
- Microchip – A permanent ID that helps reunite lost pets with their families quickly and safely.
Tier 2– $25
Includes everything in Tier 1 (DHPP, Bordetella, Microchip), plus:
- Dewormer – Treats intestinal parasites like roundworms and hookworms, which are common in pets and can also spread to humans.
Tier 3– $35
Includes everything in Tier 2 (DHPP, Bordetella, Microchip, Dewormer), plus:
- Rabies – Required by law and essential for protecting pets and people from this fatal virus.
- We are only able to offer rabies vaccines when we have a vet on-site. CALL AHEAD to see if we have a vet the day you plan to come.
Options for Dog Flea/Tick Preventative
All of these options protect your dog from fleas and ticks for a full month, helping prevent itching, skin infections, and serious diseases like Lyme.
- Provecta - $10 (topical)
- Frontline - $15 (topical)
- Nexgard - $20 (oral, prescription)
Note about the importance of monthly flea preventive:
If fleas get on your pet, they can also bite and feed on people. Once inside, fleas can embed themselves in carpets, furniture, and bedding, making them difficult and expensive to eliminate. The best way to prevent an infestation is by using a monthly flea preventative. Flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) is very common in dogs. FAD is an allergic reaction to flea saliva, causing intense itching and skin irritation. Even a single flea bite can trigger a reaction in dogs with FAD, leading to excessive scratching, biting, and licking. This can result in hair loss, skin inflammation, and potential secondary infections.

Tier 2– $20
Includes everything in Tier 1 (FVRCP and Microchip), plus:
- Dewormer – Clears intestinal parasites that can cause weight loss, diarrhea, and illness in cats (and can be passed to people).
Tier 3– $35
Includes everything in Tier 2 (FVRCP, Microchip, Dewormer), plus:
