Dog Friendly
Every dog that comes through our doors receives a dog sociability assessment from our Behavior & Training team. Based on their level of dog-friendliness, we can best match them with their future home – including future foster homes! You can also bring your resident dogs down to either of our shelter locations to meet potential foster dogs and make sure it's a good fit for you and your resident animals.
Cat friendly
Since the majority of dogs come through our doors as strays, we have very little information about what other animals they lived with in the past. If you're looking for a cat-friendly foster, we can match you with our best guess at who our Behavior & Training team thinks would be a good fit – OR you can start by doing a 'foster takeover' for another foster who has a cat-friendly foster dog!

We always recommend that foster families with children bring their crew down to either of our shelter locations to meet potential foster dogs and make sure it's a good fit. As with any dog, we always recommend to never leave children and dogs unattended together for everyones safety!
