enrichment
Enrichment is an important part of animal care, it helps to keep our cats from getting bored and keeps their body and minds active. Help make and distribute enrichment for the cats at the shelter!
Dishes & Laundry
With dozens of cats in our care at any given time, laundry and dishes can definitely pile up! Washing dishes and doing laundry is a daily need at Cincinnati Animal CARE. With the support of our volunteers we are able to provide our animals with clean blankets, dishes, and toys which can bring a cat a lot of comfort while in their kennels. This is a great role for those who enjoy working in more of a behind the scenes capacity.
Cleaning & Feeding
Volunteer to help our Cat Care staff with morning cage cleaning & feeding. This opportunity includes cage cleaning and providing the cats with their first meal of the day!
afternoon support
Every day at 1pm Cincinnati Animal CARE opens to the public ready to welcome potential adopters! Volunteers can help our Afternoon Support team welcome guests into our cat adoption area and help them find their new feline friend. Greet interested customers, answer any questions you can, socialize with cats, and assist Cat Care staff with any extra tasks. This is a great role for cat lovers who love talking with other people about all things cats!
