Hamilton County Dog License Amnesty Event
June 24 - July 3
It’s a crime to harbor a fugitive! But don’t worry, we’ve got your tail if you forgot to license your dog.
Ohio state law requires dogs to be registered annually, but if you missed the deadline back in January, we’re offering dog licenses without the late fees, in partnership with Hamilton County. From June 24th to July 3rd you can get your dog licensed for the standard fee of $19.75. Plus, your dog license fee directly supports the county’s only open-intake animal shelter, Cincinnati Animal CARE, so it’s a win-win for everyone!
To sweeten the deal, if you purchase your annual license during the amnesty period or show proof of a valid 2024 Hamilton County Dog license, you can also get your dog microchipped for just $5, AND annual vaccinations FOR FREE.
Join us June 24th through July 3rd, from 1pm – 5:30pm on weekdays, and 10am – 5:30pm on the weekend, and get your pup outta the dog house!
This promotion runs on the paws of Lost Pet Prevention Month, so it’s a perfect time to take the right steps to make sure you and your best friend stay together forever!
*Licensing amnesty is available at all locations where Hamilton County dog licenses are sold, including online. Vaccines and microchips are offered at the main county shelter location only – Cincinnati Animal CARE, 3949 Colerain Avenue in Northside.
