🐾 Shelter Slumber Pawty
A one-night sleepover to change thousands of lives
On April 18, Cincinnati Animal CARE is joining shelters across the country and around the world for the Shelter Slumber Pawty. This is a high-energy, overnight fundraising event in support of homeless pets.
For one unforgettable night, 25 dedicated participants will sleep inside the shelter alongside adoptable dogs and cats. They will experience what life is like for the animals in our care while raising critical funds to support them.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 in one night to provide lifesaving medical care, behavior support, enrichment, and pathways to adoption.

Our 25 participants are actively fundraising leading up to and during the event.
When you donate, you are supporting animals in need of urgent care. You are helping participants reach their goals. You are directly funding lifesaving programs at the shelter.

Join the Pawty from Home with a Foster Pet 🏡🐶🐱
You do not have to sleep in a kennel to make a lifesaving impact.
You can join from home by fostering a dog or cat and fundraising alongside us.
Key dates:
- Pick up your foster pet on April 16 or 17.
- Participate from home on April 18.
To participate, you must have a foster animal in your care by April 17 and set up your own fundraising page!
🐾 How It Works
Step 1: Pick Your Pawty Partner
You can foster a dog or cat specifically for the event. You can also participate with your current foster.
Step 2: Sign Up
Register to receive a step by step guide and a short tutorial on how to set up your fundraiser.
Step 3: Start Fundraising
Share your foster’s story on social media. Set a fundraising goal. Ask friends and family to support your sleepover.
🎉 Make It Fun
You can turn your night into a full Pawty experience. This is your chance to get creative while making a real impact!
- Build a cozy sleepover setup or a pillow fort.
- Dress up in pajamas with your foster pet.
- Host a movie night or create a fun theme.
- Share updates, photos, and videos throughout the night.
- Create “Adopt Me” posts to help your foster find a home.
- Set donation challenges and celebrate milestones.
