Test Drive a Dog: Waived Foster to Adopt Fees March 20th-31st!
March 20 @ 1:00 PM - March 31 @ 6:00 PM

Our kennels are full, full, full of amazing dogs and we need YOUR help to save lives! From March 20th through the end of the month, we’re waiving all adoption fees for those who participate in our Test Drive a Dog foster-to-adopt program.
🐶 How it Works:
✔ Take a shelter dog home 6 months and older for up to 7 days to see if they’re the right fit
✔ We provide food, supplies, and vet care during the trial
✔ If you finalize the adoption, your fee is completely waived!
With 121 dogs taken in just last week and a 32.5% increase in intake this month, we urgently need adopters to help clear the shelter. This is the perfect chance to find your new best friend—risk-free and at no cost!

How the Foster-to-Adopt Program Works:
- Participants can take a dog home for up to seven days to ensure the pet is a good fit for their home and lifestyle.
- Foster-to-adopt families will receive all necessary supplies, including food, a leash, a collar, and any required medications.
- Veterinary care is provided during the trial period.
- All dogs over the age of six months of age are included in this promotion.
- Adopters must confirm their decision within 48 hours and up to seven days; if they choose to adopt, the fee is waived.
- If the dog is not the right fit, the pet can be returned to the shelter, and if interested, the team will help find a more suitable match.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old and provide valid state identification to take a dog home.
Studies show that reduced and waived fee adoptions do not put animals at risk. According to Best Friends Animal Society, research indicates that there is no correlation between adoption fees and an adopter’s commitment to keeping their pet. Shelters across the country have successfully used waived-fee adoption events to increase lifesaving efforts without negative outcomes.
