Chivey is the kind of dog who loves with her whole heart. This affectionate girl bonds quickly to her people and happily follows along like a little shadow, always hoping for pets, cuddles, or simply to be near you. She’s calm in the car, often curling up for a nap, and she has done well with baths, walks, and appears potty trained. Chivey knows basic commands like sit and down, takes treats gently, and greets new people with happy wiggles and an eager smile. Her favorite things are the simple ones: rolling in the grass, relaxing beside you on the couch, and climbing into laps whenever she gets the chance.

At the shelter, Chivey enjoys playtime with other dogs and brings a big personality to doggie play group. She’s playful, wiggly, and full of joyful energy, using her whole body when she plays. Day trippers consistently describe her as loving, easy to handle, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s joining you for a hike, lounging during a quiet afternoon, or grabbing a cheeseburger drive-thru snack, Chivey is simply thrilled to be included. She’s ready for a loving home where she can finally relax, feel secure, and be someone’s cherished best friend.
