When pigs fly… adoption fees do too!

Celebrate one of Cincinnati’s most iconic weekends by changing a life, yours and theirs! During Flying Pig Marathon weekend, Cincinnati Animal CARE is waiving adoption fees on all adult dogs, making it the perfect time to meet your new best friend.

From Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3, every adoption is more than a match. It’s a moment that helps create space for the next animal in need as we head into the busiest season of the year.

🎉 What’s Happening This Weekend

Cincinnati Animal CARE is joining the energy of the Flying Pig Marathon all weekend long:

  • Cheer on runners (and dogs!) at the Flying Fur race
  • Spot our team at the finish line celebrating participants
  • Visit our tent at the Flying Pig Festival on Saturday
  • Learn how to adopt, foster, or get involved

Then keep the momentum going—come visit the shelter and meet your match.

🐶 Adoption Event Details

Dates: Friday–Sunday, May 1–3
Adoption Fees:

  • ✅ Waived for all adult dogs (6+ months)
  • 💲 $5 service fee applies
  • 🐕 Hamilton County dog license required for county residents: $19.75

Bonus Options:

  • Foster-to-adopt (48-hour trial, conditions apply)
  • Dozens of dogs also available in foster homes!
