Community Service

On a case by case basis, Cincinnati Animal CARE can occasionally accept volunteer hours for court ordered service. Please check the requirements below to see if you may qualify. Volunteers who are interested in community service for school requirements are encouraged to check out our Long-Term Volunteer program!

Community Service Requirements

  • 1 Must be 18+
  • 2 Must be completing community service for a non-violent offense.
  • 3 Must first email volunteer@cincycare.org to get your service requirements approved by the Volunteer Manager.
  • 4 Volunteers must be able to volunteer independently, one-on-one aides can not be provided by CAC staff.
  • 5 Attend and complete all required training, including an in-person new volunteer orientation.
  • 6 Volunteers must be able to independently navigate our online system, My Impact, to view and sign up for volunteer shifts.
  • 7 Support CAC’s Mission and Vision (see our About Us page).
  • 8 Abide by all policies and expectations listed in the Volunteer Handbook.
