Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 2–4 PM at Cincinnati Animal CARE’s shelter location for a special afternoon with local author and illustrator Cheryl Merz and her beloved rescue dog inspiration, Dude.
Brown Dog Goes follows Dude, a once-homeless rescue puppy who grew up to become an adventurous traveler exploring the world alongside his mom. Written and illustrated by Cheryl Merz, this heartwarming children’s book celebrates rescue dogs, curiosity, friendship, and adventure through the eyes of one very good boy. Perfect for kids ages 3–8!
