Homemade Dog Enrichment

While we can make some enrichment items on-site for our dogs and cats, having additional enrichment items delivered throughout the weeks adds a lot of value to our staff and our animals! Make DIY dog/cat treats or get creative! Explore our Ultimate Dog Enrichment Guide to see what enrichment you can prepare at home with items you may already have around the house!

create no-sew cat blankets

If you're feeling crafty and want to help support our feline friends at the shelter, you can make DIY no-sew cat beds or DIY no-sew cat blankets! Our cats on-site would definitely appreciate the added comfort in their kennel while they wait to find their future homes.

Make DIY draglines

Draglines are vital to our everyday dog care operations! Every dog wears a dragline during their dog-to-dog assessment and during playgroups which happen daily. The general wear-and-tear means we go through them rapidly and could always use new draglines. If you're feeling crafty, purchase some supplies and watch this video to get started making draglines today!

Host a donation drive!

Hosting a monetary or item donation drive is a wonderful way to support our dogs and cats. By collecting funds or essential items like food, toys, and bedding, you can directly impact the well-being of our animals.

Every donation, big or small, helps provide the necessary resources to ensure these pets receive the best possible care. Rallying your community to participate in the drive amplifies the impact, making a significant difference in the lives of our animals. Interested in hosting a donation drive for CAC?
